2025 NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER:
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, encouraging those of all faiths to pray for the nation. The 74th National Day of Prayer will be commemorated Thursday, May 1, 2025. The theme is “Pour Out to the God of HOPE and be Filled.” The accompanying scripture is Romans 15:13. Multitudes will participate in this special occasion. Everyone is encouraged to join in corporate prayer, as we pray for America and other nations. POA & WNOP ALL-NIGHT PRAYER MEETING: Saturday, January 18, 2025
The Pentecostals of Alexandria (POA) and the World Network of Prayer (WNOP) are partnering together to host an International All-Night Praying Meeting in association with the annual “30 DAYS OF PRAYER.” The 2025 theme is CADENCE, with the sub-theme “Marching Orders.” We invite you to join in prayer with us onsite or via Facebook Live at POA or WNOP. Let’s unite in spiritual cadence as the Lord of Host, Mighty in Battle, leads us to victory!
World Network of Prayer has chosen the theme CADENCE, with the sub-theme, “Marching Orders.” A military cadence is a call-and-response vocal that keeps soldiers in unison during running or marching workouts. These rhythmic words, often led by a military leader, help maintain the troops' pace and morale while fostering camaraderie and teamwork. The cadence usually consists of simple, repetitive memorable, and synchronized phrases with physical movements. It is time to move and go forward! God has given us our “marching orders.” Our purpose on Earth is to carry these marching orders out! Everyone is invited to participate in the annual "30 Days of Prayer" January 2-31, 2025.

Urgent Prayer Needs
July 8 - 14, 2025
Lee critically needs miraculous healing in his entire body, strength, energy, and overall divine health.
JE needs a miracle. She has several heart defects (from birth) that required numerous surgeries, which also caused some other health issues. She is only seven, and needs that heart to function as if its brand new and has never had any defects. Along with healing of the other health issues.
Sue is in ICU with pneumonia.
Steve has been diagnosed with stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver. Pray he heals by the hand of God before he requires a liver transplant.
Pray for the Camp Mystic flash flooding tragedy and other areas in Texas. Pray for the rescue efforts, and for those who lost loved ones.
James, a former UPC pastor, has congestive heart failure.
Please pray for the Hill Country and San Saba in Texas. Severe flooding. Lives have already been lost.
Urgent prayer is needed for protection for the community and the churches there
Rex had a severe brain aneurysm and stroke on June 7th. He remains in critical condition in a medically induced coma.
Pray that a 5 year old child, who lost her mother, will be able to stay with her grandparents.
Niki is really sick and they don’t know what is wrong. Please pray for answers.
Pray for Ivan. He has suffered a brain injury, and is now having seizures.
Lily is a little girl that has Sepsis. Please pray that God will heal her.
Pray for Vincent’s aunt; that infection be removed from her body. She is on life support after dialysis.
Richard is in ICU. He has renal failure, a collapsed lung, a blood clot in his lung, an two broken vertebrae in his back.
Phyllis had a stroke that damaged her brain and paralyzed her right side.
Swein is in the hospital in Canada, she went in for belly stomach ache. They did surgery, and now her brain is swelling, and her lung is damaged. She needs a Miracle.
Lisa has a very bad infection on her leg. She is a diabetic, and needs healing physically and spiritually.
Julie is on a breathing machine. She has only has five days left before they take her off. Pray that if its Gods will, she start to improve and breath on her own.
Pray for healing for Bobby. He had a stroke that has affected his vision and balance
Please pray for Chris and Kim, whose house burned down. They lost everything.
