PrayerConnect for July 5, 2016

In the context of the title, Merriam-Webster defines “SEAT” as a special chair of one in eminence and the status represented by it; a right of sitting; a place from which authority is exercised. Whoever sits on a certain SEAT of power and authority will have an indelible impact on the temporal and eternal affairs of humanity! So, it is crucial that, through prayer, we go to the SEAT (Throne) of God in Heaven on behalf of the SEAT (Office) of Mankind on Earth (Exodus 25:22, Job 23:3, Hebrews 4:16)!
Regardless of any viewpoints on separation of church and state, the Bible says, “… first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made…For kings, and for all that are in authority…For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God” (I Timothy 2:1-3) …
It is crucial that we pray for the 2016 presidential election; not only because of the ramifications of the role itself, but also because available Supreme Court justices are appointed by the office of the president. Therefore, the next elected president may have the opportunity to appoint a justice for this vacant position, as well as for a few other future positions that may open that could potentially overall bring either conservative or liberal favor in the court. The replacement by a liberal justice could shift the majority of the court to the side of the liberals, who contribute little or no value to religious rights.
At Summons to Sacrifice that convened in June 2016, Reverend Thomas Sueydisplayed a picture of the Supreme Court Justices, including an empty SEAT, signifying the replacement of Associate Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who passed away. Brother Suey led the audience in prayer, emphasizing that he felt Spirit-led for us to pray that this SEAT be filled by the right person.
Later in June, Reverend Eli Hernandez spoke a prophetic word during a ministry tour at the United Nations (UN) expressing that the Lord spoke the word “SEAT” repetitively to him to share with us (tour group). Although not given insight to the specific seat, he expounded that God revealed to him an important “SEAT” that we Christians need to fervently pray for, and if we did, it would be granted…making a notable difference in the affairs of this world and the kingdom of God! Other intercessors also have conveyed the urgency to pray for an available “SEAT.” Therefore, PRAY!!
  • Pray for the past SEAT that became available for the United States Supreme Court Justice
  • Pray for the present SEAT that is coming available for the President of the United States
  • Pray for the future SEAT that is potentially available one day for the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations
  • Pray for the vacant SEAT that needs to be filled on any governmental level, whether it be local, city, county, district, state, regional, national, international, etc (Daniel 2:21, Proverbs 21:1).
The SEAT is in our hands! What will you do? Will you sit down idly and fold your arms in apathy, or will you bow down reverently and clasp your hands in prayer? Are you able to possess the land? Caleb said, “We are well able…” (Numbers 13:30)! WE MUST PRAY! I am so burdened (stirred) about this! Please join in prayer with us now, and participate also later in prayer/fasting opportunities that are forthcoming on this focus. Together, we can help steer the course of divine destiny!  Are we able to possess the SEAT? Through the power of prayer, we are well able to possess the SEAT…for God!
