Global Day of Prayer

The GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER will be observed on Sunday, June 4, 2017. The Global Day of Prayer is commemorated annually as “A Day of Repentance and United Prayer!” Christians around the globe will lift up their voices in one accord in stadiums, churches, fields, etc., believing for the power of prayer to transform our world and fill the nations with the glory of God!

God is calling people worldwide to unite together in prayer to pray for the world. He wants us to embark on the journey to intercede for the nations and to answer the call relayed in II Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” And as a result, verses 15-16 will manifest, which further declares, “Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.”

On the Global Day of Prayer, we will be praying with the world…for the world! Join millions of praying people worldwide, and do “a world of good” and watch the world change…for the better!

Pentecost Sunday also will convene on Sunday, June 4, 2017. The observance of this day highlights the initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts. Preceded by a wave of repentance, the Holy Spirit was poured out upon 120 people in the upper room, and then later 3,000 individuals received God’s Spirit as well.

Pray that a spirit of travail would grip our hearts, so that a great harvest of souls will be born into the kingdom of God. Pray for a spirit of conviction, repentance, and transformation to prevail. Pray that the hearts of seekers would be purified with holy fire through the infilling presence of God. Pray for a supernatural demonstration of the power of God. Pray for a divine manifestation of His Holy Spirit, along with restoration, renewal, healing, miracles, signs, and wonders. And remember, God still desires to reach the “Lost” through “Pentecost”!
