Who is This?
“And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying… Hosanna in the highest. And…all the city was moved, saying, Who is this” (Matthew 21:8-10)?
“Celebrate Jesus” is the theme; “2016 Summons to Sacrifice,” is the event; “June 9-11, 2016,” is the date; and “The Sanctuary,” Hazelwood, Missouri, is the place! Please join with us, “onsite,” in body, or “offsite,” in spirit…and let’s Celebrate Jesus! We also will be celebrating WNOP’s 20th Anniversary! Let’s join together and seek the Lord fervently, and expect the manifestation of His Spirit, as He confirms His Word with signs following!
“Praise” is thanking God for what He has done, and “worship” is thanking God for who He is; and in the past and present we have celebrated Jesus in such ways, but the future is on the horizon and there are new dimensions and depths of the Spirit yet to enter! We sing, “Yes I know Jesus for myself,” but there are profound attributes of Him you have not yet encountered.
As you have walked down the path of life, you may have cried “Hosanna,” and experienced some great victories, saying, “Thou art the Christ,” like Peter did. (Mark 8:29) But Peter thought he knew Christ, but later said “I know not this man,” and then discovered later that there was even more to Jesus than meets the eye. (Mark 14:71) So is it also for you too; you may have identified that “Thou art the Christ,” but do you really “know not this Man?” Even “some” (multitude) in the city praised and worshipped Christ, but the scripture says “all” the city was moved, saying, Who is this?” Today is a new day and tomorrow is coming. And deep down inside there is a “Who is This?” in your being crying out to Jesus that wants to know Him in a greater way and to experience His power in ways that will astound you and leave you in awe!
My message for you today is…Somebody is asking “Who is This?” And as you seek Him again in prayer and celebrate Jesus, He Himself will tell you “I am Jesus!” (Acts 9:5)
