Prayer for Strength

All of us have things we struggle with and things that at times seem to overwhelm us.  It is during these times we depend on God’s strength.  When we face insurmountable challenges, we can turn to the all-powerful God. His strength and renewal can help us face our fears and do the impossible.
Take time this week and pray for those who need God’s strength to get them through what is going on in their lives. Whatever the situation, God is has given many scriptures that assures us, He will be our ever-present help in time of need. Claim the following promises on behalf of those you pray about.
“I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower”  (Psalm 18:1-2).
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” (Ephesians 6:10).
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” (Isaiah 41:10)
