God’s Timetable

Many times we want things to happen right now.  They seem so desperate, that if there was an accelerator to get our prayers faster to God, we would use it.   God doesn’t always work on our timetable.  Through the years I have discovered that He rarely does.  I’ve also seen God change a situation or a life in a single moment.  There are several examples in scripture of how God has turned things around for His people working behind the scenes.
Pray:
  • God help me remember that I want you to work on your time table because I know Your ways are higher than my ways and Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.  Isaiah 55:8-9
  • Even in difficult times God, let me be encouraged because my times are in Your hands. Psalms 31:15
  • Help me to resist discouragement by speaking Your Word over my future.  Psalms 31:15
  • I will declare (To state emphatically or authoritatively; affirm) Psalm 91 over me. I substitute “you or your” with “I, me, and my.”
